In August 2023, Scotland played host to the largest cycling event in history - the UCI Cycling World Championships 2023 (UCI CWC 2023). This unprecedented event brought together 13 World Championship competitions across 14 venues, involved 7,000 athletes, and attracted over 1 million spectators.
